Evelyn H. Way

WAY, EVELYN H., (NEE HELFFERICH), 96 - of Ocean View, passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2008 in Greenville, ME. Born in Allentown, PA, she was a resident of Ocean View, for many years. Mrs. Way worked as the Post Mistress for the Ocean View Post Office for 26 years before her retirement on October 31,1980. She was a member of O.E.S. South Seaville, and Seaville United Methodist Church where she belonged to the Ladies Crafters. She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Albert Way. Surviving are her children, Albert C. Way, III, Ronald J. Way both of Ocean View, Linn R. Way and his wife Beth of Mullica Hill, two grandchildren, Andrew and Brian both of Lansdale, PA, and her sister, Catherine Helfferich of Perkasie, PA. Friends may call Wednesday morning from 11 until half past 11 o'clock at The Godfrey Funeral Home of Palermo, 644 South Shore Road, Palermo, followed by a Graveside Funeral Service at 12 o'clock noon in Calvary Baptist Cemetery, Ocean View.
