Myra Graham Obituary

GRAHAM, MYRA PAULA (SLUTZKY), 54, - of Chestnut Ridge, passed away from a rare form of cancer after a three year struggle on August 25, 2008. She was born in Atlantic City, on April 28, 1954 to Dr. Fred and Freda Slutzky (deceased). She grew up in Ventnor, attended Atlantic City High, and received an undergraduate degree from Adelphi University, during which time she lived in Paris for one year. She also received a Master of Fine Arts degree from the New York Academy of Art. She worked as a ceramic sculptor, potter, and painter. She is survived by Mark Graham (married 1991, paired since 1983) son Noah, twelve, and daughter Simone, ten. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, August 28, 2008, 2:00PM, at the Rockland Cemetery, 201 Kings Highway, Sparkill, NY 10976. A memorial service will be held sometime in September, date and time as yet to be determined.
