Louis Janelli Obituary



JANELLI, LOUIS A., SR., (LOU), 88, - of Atlantic City, born May 16, 1920, passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 27, 2008, at his home surrounded by his loving and devoted children. Lou was born and raised in Atlantic City and a lifelong resident. He was a Veteran of WWII. For many years, Lou was employed by the Press of Atlantic City and the Pomona Airport. Lou was predeceased by his wife, Ellen (nee Scanlon) Jenelli. He is survived by his seven children: Louise (Jack) Holdzkon, Marie (George) Roff, Cathy (John) Mulligan, Louis Jr., Michael, Ellen Grossman and Nancy (Rich) Szumloz; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral Arrangements are private. The family would like to extend their thanks to Holy Redeemer Hospice of Egg Harbor Township. Arrangements by the Gormley Funeral Home LLC, AC.

Hi Guys,

Sorry to read about the passing of Uncle Louie:

I remember how talented he was, building the house in Venice Park and Chelsea Heights.

The Cycle of Life. Someone recently mentioned to be that we are losing our buffer zone. Some how we are almost the "older relative".
