Beatrice Lombardo Obituary



LOMBARDO, BEATRICE LUPPINO, 80, - of Vineland, passed away Wednesday at the Bishop McCarthy Residence after an extended illness. Born in Compobello Di Mazara, Sicily, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and the late Vincenzina (Genna) Luppino. Beatrice came to the US in 1956 settling in Vineland where she remained for the rest of her life. She was employed as a Garment Worker beginning with the Di Paola Clothing Company and retiring from Crown Clothing after a career of over 40 years. She was a parishioner of St Isidore the Farmer RC Church. Beatrice enjoyed cooking & gardening. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved spending time with her family & friends. Wife of the late Sebastiano Lombardo & sister of the late, Michael & Natale Luppino, she is survived by two sons, Anthony (Nino) Lombardo & his wife Donna of Vineland & Joseph Lombardo & his wife Lois of Millville; a sister, Maria Critti & her husband Vincenzo of Vineland; two grandchildren, Nicole & Michael Lombardo of Vineland; two nephews, Joseph & Claudio Critti & one niece, Laura Critti. Her funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 11a.m. Saturday in the Church of St. Isidore the Farmer, 1655 Magnolia Rd., Vineland. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Relatives & friends will be received Saturday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 South Main Road, Vineland, 08360. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Floor. 17, Chicago, Ill. 60601-7633 or to the Bishop McCarthy Residence, PO Box 337, Vineland, NJ 08362-0337. Letters of condolence & memorial tributes may be emailed to the family by visiting pancoastfuneralhome.com.
