KARSTENS, JENSEN GARRETT 5 MONTHS OLD - of Lakehurst, son of E5, Justin Karstens USN & Tammy Karstens of Lakehurst, died Tuesday Aug 26, 2008 at Community Medical Center, Toms River. Born in Lakewood, Jensen has resided his entire life in Lakehurst. In addition to his parents Jensen is survived by his sister Kaylee. His maternal Grandmothers: Becky Friend of Austin Texas & Dawn Ellis of Jacksonville, Florida. Maternal grandfather William. Joyce of Jacksonville, Florida. Maternal great-grandfather Thomas Sexton, N. Cape May, Paternal grandfather Gary Karstens, Villas, Paternal grandmother Dorothy Piscitelli, Anderson, SC., Paternal great-grandmother Barbara Karstens, Cape May Court House. Aunts: Kathy Chaires-Las Vegas, Nevada., Chrissy Trott, Punta Gorda, FL., Kimberly McKinney, Germany, Brittany Joyce, Austin, Texas, Heather Karstens, N. Wildwood. Uncles: James Long, Jacksonville, FL, Matthew Karstens, Villas. Visitations hours will be Sunday 2pm to a 3:00pm funeral service at The Timothy F. Ryan Home for Funerals, 145 St. Catherine Blvd. Toms River, Committal will be private. Donations may be made to the family by contacting Brian Moore at 732-684-0050. I do not know your family or the circumstances of your loss, but know that pain of losing my 3 wk old son. Please know that my heart felt sympathy is with you during this time of sorrow. No words can express how you feel right not and the road is one I would hate for anyone to walk down, but hold fast to your memories, they are so precious. May God bring you comfort and solace.
