Robert Schultz Obituary

SCHULTZ, ROBERT P., 87- of Punta Gorda, FL, formerly of Cape May, and Broadheadsville (NJ), died Saturday August 30th, in the Tidewell Hospice Center, Arcadia, Fla. Mr. Schultz was born in Shamokin, Pa., lived in Plainfield and retired to Cape May in 1998, and recently moved to Punta Gorda. He was the Vocational Arts Administrator in the Plainfield High School, Plainfield. He received his Bachelors Degree in Vocational Arts from Millersville University and later completed his Masters Degree. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge while in Plainfield. Mr. Schultz was an avid West Point Football fan and season ticket holder. He was predeceased by his wife of 57 years, Elizabeth (Lewis) Schultz in 2005; a sister, Helene Wilson and a brother, Russell Schultz. Mr. Schultz is survived by: a daughter, Carrie (and Andy) O'Sullivan, of Cape May; grandson, Robert O'Sullivan, of Chester Springs, Pa.; step-grandchildren, Brian and Kevin O'Sullivan and Karen O'Sullivan-Shevitz; a sister, Edith Jipp, of Caldwell. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 3rd at 2 p.m. in the Sudak-Danaher Funeral Home, 815 Washington St., Cape May. Relatives and friends may call at the Funeral Home Wednesday from 1:30 to 2 p.m. Burial will be in the Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery, Cape May Court House. Memorial contributions are suggested to Tidewell Hospice and Palliative Care Inc. 5955 Rand Blvd Sarasota, FL 34238.
