Dear Charles,

It has been a while since we've spoken but time and distance have not lessened the shock of this devastating news about Karen. I remember fondly the conversations in the office about your family events, ski trips and the joy you all shared in being together. Please accept my deepest condolences and know that our thoughts are with you and the family during this difficult time.

Karen was a breath of sunshine to know. I knew her for 5 years and although we didn't speak everyday I knew I could count on her to be there for me. This is truly a loss. Her last e-mail to me she was telling me about her trip to Disney and how her girls enjoyed themselves and was looking forward to her ski trip to Vermont in January. She was the sweetest person who didn't have a mean bone in her body. She is now with her boy Justin and her father in Heaven. May God give Charles the strength to perserve during this very difficult time. Karen will be watching over Ashley and Sydney and she will be smiling from above. God rest her soul. I miss you already Karen! I will never forgot you and I promise you I will keep in contact with Charles and the girls.
