John Lagrotta Obituary

LAGROTTA, JOHN A., 87, - of Cedar Brook, passed away on August 31, 2008. He was a member of Carpenters Union Local #393 of Westmont, Knights of Columbus Council #3352 of Williamstown and he was a member of the Cedar Brook Hunting and Fishing Club. Mr. LaGrotta served his country in the United States Air Force (Army Air Corp) during World War II. Mr. LaGrotta is survived by his loving wife Lena (nee Darcangelo) of 61 years. He is also survived by his loving daughters Janet Mazzeo and her husband Jack of Hammonton, and Eileen LaGrotta of Cedar Brook, his sister Sue DuPuis of Springfield, MA. and his cherished grandchildren of John Mazzeo, Michael Mazzeo, Deanna Mazzeo-Shimborski and her husband Adam, William Flood, Jr., Brian Flood and Brandon Flood. Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Friday, September 5, 2008, from 6:00pm to 9:00pm and again on Saturday from 8:30am to 9:15am at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, 10:00am at Sacred Heart Church, Rt. 73 in Cedar Brook. Entombment will follow at Greenmount Cemetery in Hammonton. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent in John's memory to the William B. Kessler Foundation, P.O. Box 437, Hammonton, NJ 08037.
