Tony:
Words can’t describe the loss that we all feel--it’s heartbreaking. You were one of the most caring, sincere, witty, funny, intelligent and loving individuals I’ve ever known. The lives of two families and many, many friends will never be the same. Approximately 30 years ago, you entered into my life and filled it with love, joy and respect. You were there for me during sad and happy times, birthdays, relationships, graduations, holidays and all the days in between. I’m so grateful that I had the opportunity to tell you how much I loved and respected you as my “dad”—because that’s what you were...Even though blood doesn’t exist between us, you treated me as your daughter and our relationship consisted of a special bond. A few days ago you said, “I love you” and those words and our conversation will echo within my heart forever.
Love,
Eileen
