Delbert Suter Obituary

SUTER, DELBERT M., 104 - of Parkerton, passed away at home on Tuesday, September 2, 2008. Mr. Suter had lived in Baltimore, MD and was very active in the apparel Business for 35 years as Division Manager, after retiring in 1974 he and his wife Evelyn returned to their home in New Jersey (called Sea Haven). He was predeceased by his dear wife Evelyn in 1999 and his sister-in-law Wilma Cummings. He is survived by his step son and daughter-in-law C. Barry Brown and Evelyn Berger Brown of Ellicot City, MD, step daughter Jane Brown of Arnold, MD, son-in-law Al Baker of Arnold, MD, sister-in-law Catherine Brown of New Gretna, eight step grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his niece Leona Mae Harrison of New Martinsville, WV, nephews Francis Lee Schafer of Hannibal, OH, and Chester Schafer of Powhatan Point, OH as well as many other nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 10am at Maxwell Funeral Home, 160 Mathistown Rd., Little Egg Harbor, followed by burial at West Creek Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Friday, September 5, 2008 from 7 to 9pm and Saturday September 6, 2008 from 9 to 10 am at the funeral home. Who would beleave that Uncle Delbert would live to be 104. I talked to him often from my home in New Martinsville. WV. His voice was always strong. I am 86 now and recovering form a stroke. He will be loveingly missed. Please write through my nice Sue Nichols
