William Lardi Obituary

LARDI, WILLIAM ROCCO, 88 - of Mays Landing, went to be with The Lord on Wednesday, September 3, 2008. He passed peacefully in his sleep at his daughter's home where he lived the past four years. He was born and raised in Hammonton, formerly from Atlantic City where he was a barber at Norman's Barber Shop for over 19 years and also lived in Pleasantville. Mr. Lardi retired in 1994 from Wheaton Plastics, Mays Landing as an operator in production. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WW II. He was a real blessing to his family who he loved dearly and a person that would help anybody who needed him. Predeceased by his parents Rocco and Sarah (Esposito) who immigrated to the U.S. from Naples, his beloved wife, Mary (nee Haines) and brother, Michael P. Lardi. Surviving are his daughter, Maryella Mattern (Earl), Mays Landing, also two grandchildren. Private funeral services will be held at the Landolfi Funeral Home, 237 Bellevue Ave., Hammonton. Burial Greenmount Cemetery, Hammonton.
