I had the privilege of knowing Mark. And his spirt. And knowing how seriously he took how he impacted others. The sun and moon shine less brightly.

As you already know how much I love you guys and your extended family too, my heart feels very bad for you as you go through this difficult time.
I will always remember Mark with his great smile funny jokes and sweet nature. I will always remember Mark in Atlantic Christian School.. when he had the biggest crush on me.. Mr. Mazz teased him for YEARS to come for that one. lol

Frank, Carol, Lynne, and Chris --

My mom just called to tell me about Mark and I am so sad to hear. Whenever I think of Mark I smile -- you could always count on having fun with Mark. Growing up next to Mark filled my memories with adventure and excitement. How much I loved to cut through "the ditch" between our properties and find him home! And, most importantly, he was a good guy!

You and Mark are in my thoughts!

It is extremely hard to hold back the tears and with a heavy heart I write this.

Wether you knew him as Maz, Mark, The Hoag, or Nuge he was one of the best people I have ever known. His was often mistaken because of tuff exterior and crazy antics. That was the farthest thing from the truth. Mark was one of the kindest, nicest, most genuine people I have ever come across. He would bend over backwards to help you or make you laugh. I had some of the best times of my life with Mark and I will cherish these memories forever.

Mark loved to surf and loved the water. He had his ups and he went through some ruff patches as well. He always bounced back and was there for you when you needed him. He knew we were always there for him if and when he needed it. Yesterday is a day I wish we could have back so I could have been there for him and this whole tragedy could have been avoided.

Mark I love you and will miss you dearly. You will never be forgotten by me or the many lives you have touched over the years. I can't believe this is really happening.

Goodbye Maz things will never be the same without you. I can guarantee you that.

Tonight we will hold our glasses high and cheers Mark and the impact he left on our lives.

R.I.P. Mark

Dear Frank, Carol & Family,

We are deeply saddened to hear of your loss. It's been many years since we have seen Mark, but the bond of love that the family of Christ shares is never ending and always real. For that reason we grieve with you and pray for our God to comfort & sustain you as He has promised. Please know that we hold you in our hearts and in our prayers.

I know it has been a long time since we were all kids running around your backyard. Although time can create a physical gap it can never take away such important and fond memories. Mark was such an important part of my life growing up. He was a great freind and an essential part of who I am today. Although this is of course a sad occasion, it is always so wonderful to remember those times and that Mark enjoyed life. My deepest sympathies and thoughts are with you all! My best

Marks main passion was his music, surfing and his friends. He loved to ride his bike on the boardwalk to check the waves. Mark loved to laugh not only with you but at you! He was also a great cook, but you weren't allowed in the kitchen when the master chef was creating his dish! Words cannot discribe how much he will be missed. Forever in my heart.........

Dear Frank, Carol and family...Our hearts go out to you for your loss. We know from all the prayers you offered up for Mark in our small group Bible study that he was truly loved by many especially his family... more than he ever could have imagined...more than words could ever express. We are grateful that through our Lord Jesus Christ we all have a way to heaven and that Jesus paid that price for all. Remember that those of us who live in Christ never see each other for the last time... so until you see Mark again may you take comfort knowing that he is resting in the arms of Jesus. We love you and our prayers are with you, Shep and Tina
