Albert Schramm Obituary

SCHRAMM, ALBERT, 91 - of Ocean City, (formerly of Atco), On September 3, 2008 Beloved husband of Helen (nee Fognano). Loving father of Janis Schroeder and her husband Dave Sr. of Rockville, MD, and Bud Schramm and his wife Marcia of Medford. Proud grandfather of Leigh Salvage, David Schroeder, Marc Schramm and his wife Amy, Suzanne Schramm and Erica Schramm. Great Grandfather of Ashlyn, Matthew, Mia, Saige, and Chase. Mr. Schramm owned the Al J. Schramm custom tailor shop in Atco that his father started in 1923. He served his country during WWII in the Army Air Corps which lead invasions into Africa, Sicily and Normandy on "D-Day." Al was a member of Lion Tamers Club and was also a life member of the Atco Vol. Fire Co. He also was a member of the Atco American Legion Post #311, Ocean City VFW, and Ocean City Married Couples. He took pride in the fact that he played semi pro football with the Atco Imps and also played baseball with Atco Baseball. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday, September 8, 2008 from 10am to 12pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, Atco (856)767-0539. Services will begin at 12pm. Entombment with Military Honors will follow at the Schramm Family Mausoleum, Atco Cemetery, Atco. In lieu of flowers donations would be appreciated to Holy Redeemer Hospice, 6550 Delilah Rd.
