It was a pleasure having Matt right across the street for almost 20 yrs....I will never forget looking out my kitchen window one night and seeing Matt in the dark on a ladder placing a christmas star on a 20 ft. tree!
Whalers Cove will never be the same!
I will really miss Matt! I already do~
My thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

Uncle Matty,
We will miss you so very much! But we will always remember so many wonderful things about you - your love for fun, boat rides, beach, you and all your animals. Without you, Zachery wouldn't have his pal, Dash. Knowing you - you being part of our lives - has made us better people. We love you & will miss you!

Dear Pat, Mike, Tom,
I have tried to think of some clever words to ease the pain, I know there is none, but I know there is Hope for us.
My story of hope :you may know the difficulty I have had the last few years trying to keep flowers at the grave. T he local deer are having a feast. After careful research , we thought that Marigold would be o.k., but they consumed them quickly leaving behind only the vincas, I felt satisfied all summer that the vincas survived but to my suprise yesterday, peeking out from behind a purple vinca was a small marigold and a bud of a new one.So you see my dears there is hope, there is re-birth into eternal life. It is especially significant since Matt had saved seeds from a row of marigolds Linky had planted before she entered eternal life. We are family, we love one another and we will endure what ever it takes.
