Can't believe a year has passed. I purposely put a memoriam in the Hammonton News this week so every soul in Hammonton remembers the person who did so much for her family and them. Even strangers in Hammonton will remember you because you touched everyone that much. Love you and miss you....

My dearest friend: It's been so hard not to be able to call you when I need to talk to someone who understands. and gives such good advice. I miss you vey very much. Every time I walk by the lot you had purchased and the house you were going to put up is there now, and I just wish it was you. Please Kiss my Valerie for me, give her hugs, tell her how much she is so missed and loved. Please let my mom know how much she is also missed and loved. Gloria may you rest peacefully until one day we will meet.............

Mom it is days like these that I wish you were here. I have to learn now to go through troubled times without you. You were always there when I needed you and now I have to face hard times without the person who meant the most. I miss you and love you.

To my Dearest Friend Gloria: I miss you so very much. I go by your lot every day that your house should be on, and me coming over having a cup of coffee...........Its so hard to believe you have left us. Gloria please hug and kiss my Val for me, let her know how much she is missed. I know when she met up with you, you told her all about Nancy, and Little Dominick. Well mom, it has been almost 3 months since you left us. The holidays were somber but yet semi cheery. Tonight is New Years Eve, and for the first time in many many years, will me, jimmy and nancy not be able to rush to the phone and beat each other at midnight to call you and brag who got to you first. Well mom its Halloween and the only reason I dressed the twins was to brighten your day. Just like the rest of us. I will miss coming to your house and getting their individual halloween bags you made each year for all the grandkids. Just one more thing to remind us how thoughtful and loving you were. I miss you terribly.

Dear Gloria: You do not know how many time I have dialed your number to call and just talk, and realize that your gone. But you will never ever be forgotten. Its so hard to believe that this is real. I feel like its just a dream and Ill wake up and you will still be with us. Losing a loved one is one of the hardest things to ever have to go through, we are sad but you are very very happy where you are. I miss you so very much my dear friend. I am having a hard time dealing with your loss. But you were suffering my dear friend and now you are at peace with our LORD. Please hug my Valerie, say hi to my mom and dad, and keep praying for us because we are the ones that need prayers. We will meet again my dear friend. Bake all the goodies for heavens bakery, and when its my turn to cross over to the other side we shall see each other again. Mom,
It took me a lifetime to find the right person for myself and fortunately for me she came with a Mother who I adored, loved, admired, appreciated and thought was a fantastic person.
You gave your entire being to raising your family to be outstanding people. I only hope that we all live up to your expectations and wishes.
The way you kept the family together is the way it should be done. I see your children & grandchildren, and see you in each one of them.
You will be missed and you will always be remebered by me as a Mother, not just a Mother-In-law.
I love you Mom and will keep you in my life forever.
By the way, I wasn't just there for the free cable TV. (wink)

Grandmom,
Its been over a month now and I still can't believe you are gone. When I look back and think about you its about how well you cooked and cared about everyone. You were the light of my life, always making me smile when I came to your house. Even as a little kid I can still remember you always having something for me. Mom,
It is still hard to believe that I am writing this and it has been even harder to get through the days since you went home. I miss seeing you and telling you about the little things. There is an aching sadness that lingers everyday, making me wish we had had more time. Joelly asks for her grandmom who "always did nice things for me and gave me cookies." I am so glad she loved you and will remember you, as all of us do. I will tell her when she is older about how much you loved her and how your face would light up as soon as she came running to you. I don't think you knew how much you meant to all of us. When I go home to see you, I will share all the little things with you again. The one thing that brings me joy is the fact that you are in the presence of the Lord and waiting to see us again.

Im crushed to say the least. I dont know how I will go on without you. You were the best mother and best friend I could ever have asked for. I wish someone would wake me up from this nightmare. I hope I can be as good of a mother as you were. I am so sad that my babies will never get to know you, but I am also thankful that you finally saw me get married and have those babies. You were there for me holding my hand tightly for Janet and Angelina's funeral, and all I could think of today was my empty hand. You will always be in my heart, thoughts and prayers. Dear Gloria: Words will never be able to express the person you were and still are but in a Better Place. I will cherish our friendship forever. You were a wonderful Mother, Grandmother and Friend. I will never ever forget how you always were there for me, our long talks, your advice, and being there the most when I lost my Val. Your home was always open and you treated me as if I was part of your family. You were blessed with five wonderful children, that you could be very proud of, you did a fantastic job all by yourself. I was as so looking forward to you moving around the corner from me. I wish I could be half the person you were. I will remember all of our good times we shared, our thoughts, and our fun at the Casino. When you see my Val, please hug and kiss her for me. You are at Peace and Suffering no more. Brian and I are deeply saddened by the loss of your mother. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this sad time in your lives. I was blessed with the oppurtunity to join a family that defined the meaning of love. Gloria welcomed not only myself but also my children to her life, her family and her table with open arms. We are all better for knowing her and tasting those incredible dinners and desserts. She was an incredible friend, mother and grandmother and will be missed by everyone that ever had the joy of meeting her. I have a promise to keep.... one that I made to her just last week... and I vow to you Gloria... he will be just fine and will always be happy.
