I was blessed with having Mattie in my life for the past 2 years. We instanly bonded to one another since the first day I walked into the King Center. She was more then a friend to me. She became my family. We did many things together. Wether she needed a ride to go shopping, to the bank , to the doctors ,the occasional bingo game together or to just sitting at work watching the stories and talking together.She bleesed my life each and every day. Today she was laid to rest in a beautiful celebration of her life. There were many tears shed and laughter filled her church as people shared their memories of her. It truly was a blessing to be a part of her life for the past 2 years. The pleasure was all mine in having her in my life. She will always have a very special place in my heart and family. Mattie, I love you and I will always cherish our time we shared together. You are a true blessing. Rest In Peace. Always and Forever.

To the family members of the late Mom Mattie Martin (BINGO LADY) . My heart was troubled when I learned of her passing, but was releaved when I had a chance to sit and think on the words of our Heavenly Father “Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we all shall be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall raise incorruptible, and shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. ” I Corinthians 15:51:53

To the family of Mattie Martin, from Thelma Watkins and family:
God saw the road was getting tough,
The hills were hard to climb,
He gently closed her loving eyes
Ah whispered “Peace be thine.”
Her weary hours and days of pain,
Her weary nights are past;
Her ever patient, worn out frame
Has found sweet rest at last.
May God Bless and comfort the family members and love ones of the late Mattie Martin -- Love you
