SAMPLE, LINDA L., 59 - a longtime resident of Atlantic City, departed this life on Sunday, September 7, 2008, in the city division of ARMC. She was born in Frankford, DE. Linda is predeceased by her son, Eric Sample; parents, Garfield Sample and Mary Novella Broughton; brothers, Wallace Brown, William Sample and Garfield Sample, Jr. She leaves to cherish fond memories: her daughters, Latonga N. Sample and Crystal Y. Sample, both of New York City, and Monique E. Lyles of Pleasantville; her siblings, Stanley Brown of CT, Garland Sample (Isabel) of Cape May Court House, Daniel Broughton of Seattle, WA, Wayne Broughton of Trenton, James Broughton of Cape May Court House, Herbert Sample of Wildwood, Thelma Fauntleroy of Wilmington, DE, Joyce Sample of Deerfield, NJ, Shirley Sample of Camden, Barbara Turner of Maryland and Charles Broughton of Atlantic City; her longtime companion, Henry Hall of Atlantic City; 15 grandchildren, and other loving relatives and friends. Services will be held at 11AM Saturday, September 13, 2008, at Victory First Presbyterian Church, Pennsylvania and Pacific Avenues, Atlantic City, where friends may call from 10AM.
