Evelyn James Obituary
JAMES, EVELYN L., "BUSTA", "AUNT EVELYN", 87 - of Absecon, departed this life and went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 at the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Mainland Campus. She was born in Westmoreland, Jamaica where she graduated from High School. She later relocated to London, England for 17 years and migrated to the United States in 1973. Evelyn was employed by Resorts International Hotel and Casino for many years until her retirement. Evelyn was a faithful member of Mount Zion Baptist Church in Pleasantville. She was predeceased by her parents John and Etilda James and her son Joslyn Donaldson. Her survivors: A granddaughter Jacqueline Bell and her husband Mark of Ilford Essex, England; her sisters Daphne Pusey and husband Edward of Atlantic City, Cynthia James of Toronto, Canada and Dorothy James of Westmoreland Jamaica; daughter-in-law Pearl Donaldson of London, England; great-grandchild Luke Bell of Ilford, Essex; special adopted daughter Sandra Cruickshank of Pleasantville; a host of nieces, nephews and her beloved Church family. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2008 at 11:00 am in Mount Zion Baptist Church, 353 South New Road, Pleasantville, where friends may view from 10:00 am.
