Viola "Vi" Petry

PETRY VIOLA, (nee Oechsle) "Vi", 84 - of Folsom, formerly of Ocean City, and Philadelphia, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2008 in the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center- Mainland Campus in Pomona, Galloway Township. She was born and raised in Philadelphia, and moved to New Jersey in her retirement to be near her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Petry was predeceased by her husband Henry J. Petry, 14 of her 15 siblings and her grandson Shawn Petry. She is survived by her daughter Viola Kirk (Phil) of Port Orange, FL, her sons Harry J. Petry (Karen) of Folsom, and Richard H. Petry (Kathleen) of Absecon; her grandchildren Michelle Kirk (Mike), Andrea Flood (Joe), Jason Petry (Tina), Matt Petry and Meagan Petry and her great grandchildren Kelsie and Justin Flood. She is also survived by her beloved sister Virginia Margerum (Al) and many loving nieces and nephews. A Memorial service will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial donation be sent to the foundation of the local hospital of your choice.
