Edie White Obituary
WHITE, EDIE B., "PEGGY", 73 - of Atlantic City, departed this life and went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 12, 2008, at the AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, City Campus. She was born in Cordelia, Georgia and attended the local public school system and graduated from high school. Edie lived briefly in Philadelphia and relocated to Atlantic City. She was employed by the City of Atlantic City in the W.I.C Department. Survivors are: Her daughter, Marie Rice of Atlantic City; sons, Vance Golden of Pleasantville and Michael Wallace of Atlantic City; Her caregiver, Gloria J. Reed of Atlantic City; Her cousin, Lonzo Woodard of Atlantic City; Her niece, Carmille Nurse; a host of daughters, grandchildren, one god-daughter and other loving relatives. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2008 at 11:30 a.m. at Mikal's Funeral Parlor, Inc., 1033 Baltic Ave., Atlantic City. Miss Peggy will be missed by Gloria and myself. I remember the three of us sitting and talking with Peggy's oldies playing in the back ground just having a wonderful time. I'm really gonna miss that. May God continue to bless you Miss Peggy. She is what i define a true friend. My heart and prayers are with you Gloria for being there for a friend she needed that. I LOVE YOU BOTH.
