DePERGOLA, BENNY, 87 - of Little Egg Harbor Township, passed away, Tuesday, September 16, 2008 at home. He was born in New York City. N.Y., residing in Brooklyn, moving to Little Egg Harbor Township in 1985. He was a self-employed Cabinet Maker. He was a WWII Navy Seabees Veteran. He was a member of St. Theresa's Catholic Church, Little Egg Harbor Township V.F.W. Post 316, American Legion Post 490, Citizen's On Patrol, Little Egg Harbor Township, and Knights of Columbus. He is predeceased by his daughter Jean in 1996. He is survived by his wife Margaret; son Joseph S., and wife Carol, Westchester, IL; daughter Theresa McCarthy, and husband Bobby, Little Egg Harbor Township; brothers Frank, Riverhead, N.Y., Dominick and Sebastian, both of Staten Island, N.Y.; sisters Anna Palmiotto, Little Egg Harbor Township and Grace Portegello, Queens, N.Y.; eight grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren. Friends and family may call Friday, September 19, 2008 from 9:30 -10:30 A.M., at WOOD FUNERAL HOME, 134 EAST MAIN ST., TUCKERTON. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Theresa's Catholic Church, 450 Radio Rd., Little Egg Harbor Township, Friday, September 19, 2008 at 11:00A.M., followed by burial in Greenwood Cemetery, Tuckerton.
