Vincent R. Giacoboni

GIACOBONI, VINCENT R., 86 - of Cherry Hill, On September 20, 2008, Beloved husband of the late Frances B. (nee Ferretti). Dear father of Jann Giacoboni, of Cherry Hill, and Joyce and her husband Robert L. Sinopoli of Northfield. Loving pop pop of Sage, Shayna, and Robert. Dear brother of Jock and his wife Agnes Giacoboni, Brother-in- law of Peter Panebianco, Phyllis and her husband Nicholas Navarra, Michael Ferretti, George and his wife Doris Ferretti. Uncle of John and his wife Deborah Giacoboni, and Uncle of many other nieces and nephews. Vincent was employed by R.C.A. Corp. for 44 years as Director of Purchasing for the R.C.A. Service Company. He was responsible for the over all Purchasing activities conducted through the company's Cherry Hill Office. He was a member of the National Association of Purchasing Managers (C.P.M.) He also was a member of The Friends of The Sacred Heart, and Past Chairman of the Seminarian Burse Banquet sponsored by the organization. Vincent was a Veteran of WWII serving in the Pacific Theater in the US Marine Core as Crew Chief on the B-25 (PBJ-l). He was a member of the V.F.W. Post and the American Legion Post both of Cherry Hill. He also was a Member of the Knights Of Columbus Marian Council No. 3784 of Cherry Hill. Relatives and friends of the family will meet for the visitation and funeral on Wednesday morning from 9:00am to 10:00am in St. Peter Celestine R.C Church, 402 North Kings Hwy., Cherry Hill. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00am. Entombment Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Cherry Hill. In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorial contributions in memory of Vincent R.
