Marjorie Huntley Obituary

HUNTLEY, MARJORIE (NEE STOCKS), 95, - of Port Republic, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2008. Born in England on September 20, 1913, she came to the US at 11 years old. Marjorie lived in Ocean City until she married "Goody" Henry Huntley. Once married, they moved to Port Republic where they lived all their life. Marjorie worked at Oyster Creek Inn for 20 years during the 50's, 60's and 70's. Marjorie is predeceased by her loving husband, "Goody" Henry Huntley and her granddaughter, Tina Huntley. She is survived by her son, Ted and daughter-in-law Phyllis Huntley of Hudson, N.C.; sister-in-law, Linda Huntley of Port Republic; grandchildren, Deborah and Dan Quigley of Little Egg Harbor Twp., Ted Jr. and Michelle Huntley of Hudson, N.C.; great-grandchildren, Dan Jr., and Tara Quigley of Little Egg Harbor Twp., Christina Quigley of Deptford, Stephen Quigley of Little Egg Harbor Twp., Bryanna Quigley of Little Egg Harbor Twp., and Ricky Pone of Manahawkin. Also surviving are her great-great grandchildren, Cole Quigley, Jayda Quigley and Dakota Dix as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 from 1pm until 2pm at Adams-Perfect Funeral Home, 1650 New Road, Northfield, where a service will begin at 2pm. Interment will be held at Port Republic Cemetery, Port Republic. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marjorie's memory to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 118 Main Street, Port Republic, NJ 08241.
