Lois Butler Obituary

BUTLER, LOIS JOAN, 80 - of Pleasantville, went home to be with the Lord on September 20, 2008. Lois was born on September 26, 1927 in S. Langhorn, PA to the late Edward T. and Elizabeth Cliff Christine. After graduating high school, Lois worked for several years in banking. At age 26 she met and married the love of her life, Francis Butler. Together they started a very successful car dealership in Chester, PA, later moving it to Pompano Beach, Fla. Retiring in 1978 and wishing to be near family, they moved to Pleasantville. Lois was a faithful and devoted member of the Presbyterian Church of Pleasantville. She loved the Lord dearly, and read and studied His Word daily. Lois was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Francis "Whitey" Butler, her infant sister Grace, sister Blanche Welsh, and brother Edward Christine. Surviving to cherish her memory are her sister Loraine Lorenz of Pleasantville, nieces Olga Rich and Joan (Ken) Turner, both of Absecon, and all of "The Kids", great-nephews John (Liz) Rich, Pomona, Michael (Stacey) Rich, Mays Landing, great-nieces Lori (Jon) Johnson, Mays Landing, Karen (Paul) Chubb, Absecon, Jennifer Cambria, Egg Harbor City, Jill (Chris) Polcini, Egg Harbor Township, Lauren Johnson, Kaitlin Polcini, Matthew Chubb, Justin Chubb, Christopher Polcini, and Nicholas Polcini. We will love you and miss you forever, Aunt Lo! Funeral and interment will be private. Donations in her name can be made to the Presbyterian Church, 1311 S. Main St, Pleasantville, NJ 08232.
