You want to know what's funny? Joe's still laughing with us...or is it "at us"...even when we can't hear him, or see him, or touch him. He's here. You feel it, too--I know. That smile? He makes up a part of it. :)
Always, with love and fond memories. :)

Dear Joey
June 1st would have been you 56th bday. Every morning a radio station plays a song from Monti Pythons show. Always look on the bright side. It makes me smile & laugh remembering you running down our block wearing my plaid skirt when we lived on Norristown Rd. You were the funniest person I ever met!
I miss my big brother,
Your little sister. Donna

I went to the beach after the height of the last nor'easter to listen to the surf...to listen for you. I thought you might be there..."kickin' up a little sand", one might say. To my surprise, everything was calm. I thought maybe I missed you. But really, when I thought about it, you probably never would have wanted to pulverize the beach like that in the first place. It was even likely that you had called off whatever "weather henchmen" were responsible so that the seagulls would have a safe roosting place on the beach after such a traumatic storm! That would be your style, wherever you are, sweet Joe. :)
Missing you every day! Always with love and good memories. :X

I heard some amazing music that reminded me of you -- uncanny, actually, the beautiful melodies. And while the music played, the sunset, over ice covered water, was breathtaking. Gorgeous! It was like you were orchestrating a harmony of nature too wonderful and fleeting for anyone who wasn't looking and listening to catch a glimpse. I almost missed it this time. You were always good at that sort of thing, sweet Joe! I look for you in the flight of the bird, the butterfly, the sunbeam, the sound of the music...you are there, I know.
There's still a hole in my heart that won't mend without you here. I miss you, Joe. I always will. With love and sadness. Will see you soon. :x

Joey we will all miss you very much. I will always remember Thanksgivings at Nana's and our having to sit at the kids table. This was also the best seat in the house because we always had you and Vinnie doing disgusting things with your noses and other body parts. Even the last time I saw you you had that little remote "farting" thingy. Everytime I went to sit somewhere I heard the noise. You were always fun. I will always remember that personality! What a great loss for us all. My deepest sympathies to the family. I love you all.
