Anna Mucchetti Obituary

MUCCHETTI, ANNA G., - of Hamilton, passed away peacefully at home on the eve of her 73rd birthday on Wednesday after fighting a valiant four year battle with lung cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family as she entered into God's Kingdom. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Mrs. Mucchetti resided in the Hamilton Township area since 1959. She was a parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Church. She spent her entire life building up and holding her family together, it was her work of love. Daughter of the late Enrico and Leontina Carbone Ciampitti; she is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 53 years, Domenic A. Mucchetti; her beloved daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Richard Sommer of Yardville; her loving son and daughter-in-law, Albert J. and Michelle Mucchetti of Wildwood Crest; her cherished grandchildren: Daniel and Kaitlyn Sommer, Cristina and Domenic Mucchetti; her brother, William F. Ciampitti of Philadelphia, PA; her sister, Marie L. Church of Annandale, VA; her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Rita and Tony Skubish of Glenolden, PA; her nieces, Patricia and her husband Steve Byrne of Media, PA, Cheryl and her husband William Mattern of Lincoln University, PA; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashley and Brittany Byrne, David and Timothy Mattern; and many other loving relatives and friends. The funeral will be held Monday 8:00 a.m. from the Hamilton Brenna-Cellini Funeral Home, 2365 Whitehorse-Mercerville Rd., Hamilton, NJ 08619. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am at St. Gregory the Great R.C. Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton. Entombment will follow in Princeton Memorial Park, Gordon Rd., Robbinsville. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 3076 Princeton Pike, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
