Lillian Reidy Obituary

REIDY, LILLIAN VERONICA, 87 - of South Dennis, passed away on Monday, September 29, 2008 at her home. Born in Jersey City to the late William and Loretta Mitchell, she moved here 22 years ago from Fairlawn. She was a member of St. Joseph's R.C. Church in Sea Isle City and of the Dennis Township Senior Citizen Club. An avid reader and crafter, she liked playing the slots at Trump Plaza. She enjoyed gardening, especially taking care of her azaleas, impatiens, and rhododendrons. Mrs. Reidy is survived by her husband of 60 years, James; her children and their spouses, Lillian (Ken), Jim (Carol), Bill, Dennis (Anna), Mary (Tom), and Patrick (Agatha); her fourteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her sisters, Annie and Mae; and her nephew, Frank. Memorial mass will be said on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Auditorium, 44th Street and Central Avenue, Sea Isle City. Interment will be private.
