KURTZ, HARRY - of Landisville, born in Pennsylvania, passed away September 30, 2008, at home after a brief illness. Harry's service began with the second draft in 1941, and he served as staff sergeant for the 28th Field Artillery Medical Detachment in France and Germany until his return to the United States in June 1945. His records are filled with commendations from his commanding officers for his bravery and the diligence of his performance. In 2000, Harry was presented with congressional recognition by Frank LoBiondo and Nick Asselta with citations for honorably serving in the name of freedom and peace. He also received The Federation of French War Veteran Liberation of the "Provence of Normandy" Recognition Medal for outstanding and invaluable service to the USA during World War II. Harry was employed at Jersey Panel Corp. of Vineland for several years. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth, and his family, Joe and Cindy Brunini of Las Vegas, Nevada, Ed and Annette Brunini and John and Nancy Brunini all of Landisville, Marie and Russell Baruffi of Vineland, Howard and Anne Jordan of Galloway Township, Robert and Sharon Jordan of Egg Harbor Township and Mike and Carol Hansberry of Cape May. A church visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th, from 9 am to 11 am with a funeral liturgy to follow at 11am from Queen Of Angels Parish at Church Of St. Michael, 504 West Avenue, Minotola. Interment will follow in Our Lady Of Victories Cemetery, Landisville. ARRANGEMENTS are under the supervision of Rone Funeral Service, 1110 East Chestnut Avenue, Vineland.
