Cormick McMahan Obituary
McMAHAN, CORMICK S., (Cory), 18 - of Ventnor, from a tragic car accident on Tuesday, September 30, 2008. Born in Vineland, he was a Ventnor resident for seven years and attended Atlantic City High School. He will be remembered for the love of his car, motorcycle and "popin his collar". He also worked at the AAAA Bike Shop in Ventnor and the Margate Bike Shop. He is survived by his mother Ali and father Michael; brother Kris and his wife Joan; sister Katie and her husband Dave and sister Keely. He is also survived by grandmother Catherine McMahan and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is predeceased by grandfather Stanley McMahan, Jr. Friends may call Friday evening from 5:30pm to 8:30 pm at the George H. Wimberg Funeral Home, 1707 New Road, Linwood. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Vineland. In lieu of flowers, donations in Cory's memory may be made to the Egg Harbor Township Volunteer Fire Department or the AtlanticCare Regional Medical Center Trauma Unit.

Cory, I can't even begin to explain how great of a person you were. There is not one time I can think of where I thought differently of you. Thank you for everything on Valentine's Day. I was a mess and you were the one to cheer me up. You got me in a little bit of trouble though =]. Hahahaa. I'm really going to miss you Cory. We all are. We love you. You'll be in our hearts forever.

Michael & and I have only just heard about Cory. He was such a sweet person, always willing to lend a hand in any way. We've had him at our home many times helping us celebrate ALL the holidays....
We'll miss that wonderful smile and gentle personality.

You will forever be in my heart. I am glad I had the time with you for your 18th Birthday in July! We had a lot of fun although we didnt get to golf b/c you left them in your truck!!!
Oh well...I'm sharing all of my great memories of our times and the goofy stuff that you did throughout the 18 years you were with us!

To Cory's family, im so sorry for your loss. Cory was one of my bestfriends. Just the other night i was talking to him and i was upset about something and ofcourse he always was concerned and made me feel better. Cory always had a smile on his face and he was a great friend to have. I love him, he's my angel and ill never forget about him. rest in peace cory, i love you.

To Cory's Family - You do not know me. Neither did Cory. But I lost my little brother (31 yrs old) to a boating accident 5 years ago. The words of comfort I want to offer to you are.....look for little things that happen; ways Cory will let you know he is around and watching over you. Several things have happened to me over the past 5 years that I chalk up to "there's Michael again.....letting me know he is my angel". It does bring you comfort. Cory was the best friend anyone could ask for. He was always there for me when I needed him, that is the kind of kid he was. He would do anything for anyone at the drop of a hat. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the McMahan Family. We lost our 16 year old son over a year ago in a similar accident (atv) and realize the pain and loss you are and will continue to feel for a long time; but know that Cory is with you at all times and stick together in this time of healing. Very sorry for the loss of your son,grandson,nephew, brother and friend. Through his Aunt Pat, so many of us have seen Cory and cousins grow up since babies to adults. Pat and Family,
Pat and I worked together at Resorts. I can still remember the way her face would light up when talking about her nieces and nephews. Her office was filled with the kids pictures and art work that they made her. Pat was so proud of each and every one of them and her love was unconditional.
Pat, have comfort knowing that you now have Cory in heaven looking out for you the way you looked out for him these past short 18 years.
