It's good to remember my cousin, Chuckie, who left this earth too soon. You are now joined by many others who loved you too.

Always remembered with fondness. One gentle and sweet soul. My last memory, you showed me your special birthday present. Can you guess what he was so happy to show? Mom and I just had to smile and say, "NICOLE!"

Chuckie, you were dear to my mom and dad. You came to celebrate Mom's 90th year and my favorite memory of that visit was when "everyone" said you couldn't eat any of the birthday food, you ate seconds of my spaghetti and sauce. I loved you double then. Then your mom said for you to show me your own birthday present. TATTOO. I asked whose idea that was. Those who know your mom will find extra reason to smile at that memory. Tattoo for my little cousin. You weren't here long enough for us, but it was a good life, and you left your family with good memories of a good son and brother, a good nephew, a fine example for others, and an inspiration to friends.

Chuckie's family remembers him as he would have begun this nineteenth year. There's a hole here, but heaven rejoices at his arrival.

I'll lend you for a little time,a child of mine He said,For you to love the while he lives and mourn for while he's dead.
It may be six or seven years,or twenty two or three,But will you, till I call him back, take care of him for me?
He'll bring his charms to gladden you,and shall his stay be brief,You'll have his lovely memories as solace for your grief.
I can not promise he will stay, since all from earth return,But there are lessons taught down there,I want this child to learn.
I've looked the wide world over in my search for teachers true, and from the throngs that crowd life's lanes,I have selected you.
Now will you give him all your love, nor think the labor vain, nor hate me when I come to take him back again?
I fancied that I heard them say-Dear Lord, thy will be done,For all the joy my child shall bring, the risk of grief we'll run.
We'll shelter him with tenderness,we'll love him while we may,And for the happiness we've known, forever grateful stay.
But shall the angels call for him, much
sooner than we planned,we'll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand.

What a valiant life you lived on this side, an inspiration to all. In your short time, you lived HOPE and JOY to your family. Your Uncle Al promised to continue the family parties in heaven, so I know your granddad, Kenny, and cousin Conrad are all together, waiting for you with whatever makes for fun in heaven. We know what the Bible says we must do if we want to join that party. It is 10:30 and we are thinking of you and family now for your send off. We're sending our love long distance. See you soon enough. Love from your Aunt Edna and Cousin Arlene

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, ""I welcome you.""

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......""My day was not in vain.""
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

I am so sorry for your loss. It's not just your loss, it's our loss too. We loved Chuckie. My girls always calling for him across the street to get his attention, Frank always enjoying having him watch Pay per view, the wrestling. Also sharing stories of play by plays of the Yankees and football games. And of course me, having him over when ever you were here. He was just always around and part of our lives, its so hard to realize he won't be apart of us anymore. We are all going to miss him terribly. If there is any light to all this darkness, know that you have an angel with you forever. God Bless.....and remember we are here for you always.

Be Still

Be still like the grass on a melancholy summer day
Be still like desert shrub.

Be calm and you will hear your loved one speak, in the stillness, in the calm, their love resounds.

If you are still this promise I make, you will hear the voice of your loved one helping you along your way.
