Regina Van Wart Obituary

VAN WART, REGINA, (Plackwic), 85 - of Cape May, formerly of Franklin Lakes, on Wednesday, October 8. She was a member of the Gardening-by-the-Sea Club, as well as the Woman's Club of Cape May. In previous years she was also active in the Quilters Guild, and made many wonderful quilts for family and friends. She was also well known for her decorative painting, especially duck decoys. She was predeceased by her husband Peter, in 1987. She is survived by her sister Wanda of North Haledon, and her three children: Peter, daughter-in-law Janet and grandson Brian, of Pompton Plains, Susan and son-in-law Roger of Lafayette, CO, and David, daughter-in-law Mary Beth and grandchildren Dillon and Delia, of West Milford, as well as many other beloved family members and dear friends. Her family would like to gratefully acknowledge the support and friendship offered by so many during her long illness. Your phone calls, cards and visits were greatly appreciated by all. A memorial service will be held at St. Albans Church in Oakland NJ, on October 16, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, her family would appreciate donations in Regina's name to either Holy Redeemer Hospice, c/o Development Department, 521 Moredon Road, Huntington Valley, PA, 19006, or to St. Alban's Episcopal Church, Stained Glass Window Fund, 1 Church Lane, Oakland, NJ 07436.
