She loved children, enjoyed gardening and cooking, and especially loved reading. Ellen was a wonderful Christian woman who dedicated her life to serving others. She supported many churches and charities during her lifetime - helping to establish several mission churches. She had fond memories of her service as a youth leader and a Sunday School teacher. Her favorite charity was a church orphanage in Tennessee, which she supported generously. Ellen helped to raise many children other then her own, never turning away anyone in need. She cooked meals for the elderly, delivered groceries to the poor, prayed with neighbors and friends, and would even help with a mortgage payment or electric bill. She will be deeply missed. Services will be held on Monday, 12 noon, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main Street, Mays Landing, where a viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. till the time of the service. Burial will be at Mt. Ray,

So sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. Keep the faith and remember all the great times and ever so wonderful things your mother did. Although I didn't know her personally, from reading alone I perceive her to have been a splendor of blessings to all who knew her. Trust God to bring your family through. Remember, time heals all wounds. May God bless and keep you. You are in my prayers. (Your co-worker)
