Adele Dancyger Obituary

DANCYGER, ADELE, 78 - of Egg Harbor Township, passed away peacefully at home on October 12, 2008. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph, a survivor of the Holocaust, in 2000. Adele attended Pratt University and she received her Teaching Certificate from Glassboro State College. She taught for many years at the Atlantic County Vocational and Technical School. She was a very generous and caring person and she loved animals. Adele was very creative and she came from an artistic family. She was known by her friends and family as a wonderful cook and baker. There are no immediate survivors, but Adele is survived by her cousins and many dear and loving friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services on Monday, October 13th, at 11a.m., in the Holocaust Memorial Section of Rodef Sholom Cemetery in Egg Harbor Twp. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to the Joseph & Adele Dancyger Scholarship Fund, c/o The Holocaust Resource Center at Stockton College, Pomona, NJ. Arr. Roth-Goldsteins' Memorial Chapel, Atlantic City.
