Dorothy Kriebel Obituary

KRIEBEL, DOROTHY B., (MACNEECE) 90 - of Wildwood Crest, and formerly of Erdenheim, PA., passed away peacefully on October13th. She was the beloved wife for 57 years of the late Irwin Z. Kriebel, Jr, and the devoted mother of Robert I. Kriebel (Becky), Joan K. Echevarria (Fred) and Deborah J. Skinker (Jim). Dorothy was also the proud grandmother of Gretchen A. LaFleur (Chris) and Amanda L. Kriebel. Previously, she was employed in the accounting departments of Uniroyal Company and Sears & Roebuck in Philadelphia. Her life was fully lived in faith and love of family and many friends. Those that knew her will remember her pleasing demeanor and love of music. She had a wonderful gift, which she shared with many people, of playing the piano by ear. She was an enthusiastic choir member of Cape May Lutheran Church and active member of the Wildwood Civic Club and previously a member of Sigma, Delta Chi Sorority of Journalism. A highlight of this summer was meeting her first great grandchild, Kai Kriebel LaFleur. Memorial services will be conducted at 10:30am on Saturday, October 18th at Cape May Lutheran Church 509 Pittsburgh Ave. Cape May, NJ 08204. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Cape May Lutheran Church.

God bless you during this time. I loved our "nana" so much. She made me smile everyday at Victoria Commons. She was truly a wonderful person and she will be missed.
