Nelson Cini Obituary



CINI, NELSON C., 89 - of Hammonton, passed away Tuesday October 14, 2008 at Heritage Assistage Living where he was loved by all who met him and made the last two years of his life fulfilling. Born in Phila. , he served his country during World War II. He was employed by Armour Dial Company for 37 years as a salesman. His true passion was entertaining under the name "Bob Nelson", the singer of a 1000 songs. He loved singing and playing the guitar at many lounges in Burlington and Camden Counties. Nelson was an avid golfer and enjoyed the game with his sons and son in law and often played when he came to town. Predeceased by his wife Rita, they were married for 45 years. Upon her passing he moved to Florida to enjoy his retirement doing the things he loved with many wonderful friends. Nelson is also predeceased by his brothers Dan, Louis and Bill and his sister Eva. Surviving are his daughter Barbara Schenk and her husband Bob. His sons Robert and his wife Terry, Kevin and Liza and Brian and his wife Cathy. Loving grandfather of Ryan and Lauren Schenk, Sarita, Jillian, Cara, Alyssa and Kirstie Cini. His sister Dolores Rodenbaugh and many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Saturday 9:00am with services at 10:00 at the Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. 3rd St. Hammonton. Burial Atco Cemetery, Atco. Donations may be made to Hammonton Rescue Squad 300 S. Egg Harbor Rd. Hammonton, NJ 08037.
