Helen John Obituary



JOHN, HELEN CATHERINE, 86 - of Wildwood Crest, passed away on October 15, 2008. Helen was born and raised in the suburbs of Washington, DC, where she was a dance instructor. She lived in Wildwood Crest since 1953, where she owned and managed several restaurants, including the Surf Side, with her late husband Tomi John. Helen spent many years wintering in St. Pete Beach, Florida. She is survived by her three children: Alex West of CMCH, Bonnie Shaw and her husband Charles of Swainton, Michael John and his wife Jeanne, of CMCH, four Grandchildren: Connie DiCola and husband Joe of CMCH Michelle Shaw of Woodbine Krista John of CMCH Lacey Peterman and husband Richard of Bensalem, PA. two Great Grandsons: Austin and Cole DiCola two Brothers: Charles Wolfe and Robin Wolfe of Florida Relatives and friends are invited to a calling hour on Monday from 10 to 11 am at the Ingersoll-Greenwood Funeral Home, 1201 Central Ave., North Wildwood, N.J. Interment will be private. Donations in her memory to the American Diabetes Assoc., 150 Monument Rd., Suite 100, Bala Cynwood, Pa. 19004 (1-800-diabetes) or to the Holy Redeemer Hospice, 1801 Rt. 9 North, Swainton, N.J. 08210
