To my friend Gordon,

I pray that your life is taking you into a journey that is being led by God Almighty. It is during a time and season such as this that we must reflect upon our own lives and make good of that which we are called to do. Now is that time. God is waiting on you. (Psalm 37:24)Your Grandmother's prayer is that you live a long healthy and fulfilling life. (Psalm 1:3). God Bless you!

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
