Renard Wiseman Obituary

WISEMAN, RENARD J., "Buster", "Jack, 94 - of New Gretna, died Wednesday October 22, 2008 in Atlantic Care Regional Medical Center in Pomona. Born and raised in New Gretna where he lived all of his life. Renard served our country during WWII from 1942 to 1947 in the Coast Guard as a Chief Warrant officer and later in Navy Intelligence. He worked for the Burlington County Mosquito Commission in Mt. Holly for 27 years retiring in 1972. He was a member of the Nottingham Hunting & Fishing Club of New Gretna and a member of the Masonic Cape May #3 Lodge. His son Jack predeceases him in 1988. He is survived by his wife Jeannine, his sons Renard and his wife Cindy of Sevierville Tn. and Edward of New Gretna, his daughters Mary Wiseman of Manahawkin, Kay Brown and her husband Harold of Maryville Tn., Betty Webster and husband Joel of Lakeland Florida, and Faye Pharo of Absecon. He is also survived by 7 Stepchildren, his sisters Ethel Sprague of Little Egg Harbor, Myrtle Falkinburg and Catherine Heinricks of New Gretna, many Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren & Great-Great-Grandchildren, nieces and nephews. A Service will be held Monday October 27th, 2008, at 11a.m. at the Maxwell Funeral Home, 160 Mathistown Rd., Little Egg Harbor. Viewing hours will also be Monday 1 hour prior from 10 to 11 a.m. Burial will take place in Miller Cemetery in New Gretna. To send condolences please go to www.maxwellfuneralhome.com.

There was no better "Piney" than ole Jack. I have many great childhood memories of jack and his stories of the pines. Rest in Peace brother.
