Thomas Burke Obituary
BURKE, THOMAS J. III, "TJ" 59 - of Egg Harbor Township, formerly of Pleasantville, passed away suddenly on October 23, 2008 after a battle with cancer at Shore Memorial Hospital in Somers Point, NJ. Please view entire obituary at www.adams-perfect.com. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Tom's visitation on Monday, October 27, 2008 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., in the Adams - Perfect Funeral Homes, Inc., 1650 New Road in Northfield, and once again on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., in Saint Joseph's R.C. Church, 606 Shore Road in Somers Point. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Interment will then follow in the Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery on Route 50 in Estell Manor.

Roe, Michelle, Kelly, and family,
It was evident from the size of the gathering and the showing of emotion, the impact Tom had on so very many lives! You are being thought of and prayed for by all those loving and caring people who like me, watched the tribute you put together as we waited in line on that t.v.screen.
No one who saw that left without feeling the love Tom had for you Roe, Kelly, Michelle, and his grandchildren.
I hope those loving happy memories, all of our good thoughts and prayers will some how get you through the pain and grief I know you must be feeling.
Roe you are the most positive upbeat person I've ever had the pleasure of working with and it breaks my heart that you have to go through this.

My deepest sympathy to the Burke family. I knew Tom through TJ's Detail Shop where I brought my 1997 White Pontiac Grand Prix twice a year. I always enjoyed my visit with Tom, getting the latest news and pictures of his grandchildren and most recently his newest dog. I will miss those entertaining conversations. Tom always had a smile on his face and was so proud of his family.

I was saddened to read of Tom's passing away this morning and want to offer my condolences to his family. Tom was truly a warm, wonderful person with his cherry smile to brighten up the day.
He will be missed by all of us that have had the pleasure of knowing him but will always be there in our memories as he smiles down upon us from above.

Please find comfort in the wonderful memories Tom shared with you here during his stay and how much he meant to all who had the pleasure to know him and his kind smile! My sisters and I go back to the 60's in P'ville and driving around McDonald's with Mikey in cars borrowed from their Dad's Kar Kare company and Tom always bailing him out of trouble! The Burke Family were a generous, kind, and fun Irish group to spend time with. An Irish Blessing is being offered for Tom and his loved ones...

Rose, Mikey and Families, Wow what a shock.....to have to miss that giant smile and those bright blues is a major loss. I remember back in the "50's", believe it or not, Tommy and Mikey were the mascots of Tom Sr. Junoir football team and we would toss Mikey around like the football. Working with Mom in the good old Copsey's and spending many an evening later in life dining, dancing and sipping the night away are beautiful memories. I hope that knowing that Tommy is with Mom and Dad in a better place will bring consolation of the loss of this beautiful guy. Please accept my heartfelt condolences.........JC
