Hello Big Mare...Watching the Phillies going to the World Series made my think of you. It's hard to believe that it's almost been 1 year since we mourned your passing, celebrated your life and Phillies winning the World Series....You’re never too far because every time I look at Peggy can’t help but to see you…You two are as similar as any mother/daughter could ever be. She misses you very much…Love you and keep resting in peace.

My heart goes out to the entire Fair, Mouton, Curly and especially to my wonderful lady Margaret Mary Francis Fair. Hard to put into words what a wonderful woman Marion was. Whenever I saw her I knew there were three things I was getting…..a big smile, a big hug and a big kiss. I will miss you “Big Mar”…

Margie Roby

October 29, 2008

Peg and Family,

No words can express how much we will miss Marian or as we say "Big Mar". She was one of the most fun, outgoing and good people I ever met. Memories go back to childhood days from Romper Room to that awful Soph Hop she made Johnny take me to because Mar said so! Hanging with Mar was always good for a laugh. There weren't too many family parties that Mar wasn't there, not always on time, but to the end. Kind of like Peggy!! Marian was part of our family, right there with us through good times and bad. We will miss her terribly, but will cherish all the years and happy memories we had with her. It was never a dull time when Mar was around and we will laugh over those times forever, like her they will never leave our hearts.
