To the Kirkland Family: May the Lord be with you and comfort you always. Maryanne was a very nice sister. Although I had not seen her in years, I regarded her as a friend and it was a pleasure to know her. Our Venice Park Families were close knit.

Dear Mom, Pilan and family:

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Mom, there are no heartfelt words that can express my sympathy at this time of sorrow. God puts on us no more than we can bear;
weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning. We all loved Maryanne but God loves her best.

Auntie Roe,
My heart and prayers are with you not only today but always. My dear cousin is in a better place, where there is no more pain, sorrow, tears, or turmoil. But my dear cousin is in a place, where everyday is Sunday, full with sunshine! Where peace and joy and laughter and smiles are ongoing and a blessing to all who know God!

I know you loved her, I loved her too. But one thing this life has taught me is that God loved her more.

In our time of sorrow, when the children, grandchildren and other love ones seek to find our way, know that God is with us all and let us each on hold to His hand! His unchanging hand!

To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Maryann, cuz, you will be missed but know that you are in the hands of the Man who has the master plan. For in my Fathers house, there are many mansion, for it was not so, God would have told you!'

Auntie Roe... know that I love you from the very depths of my being and God will... get us through these most difficult days!

I love you. God be with you not only in these times, but forever more!

Love your niece,
Nessa

Pilan, Rosalie and the Kirkland Family. May you find peace and healing in the lost of a beautiful daugher, mother and friend. Let her smile remain in your hearts forever. Maryanne was definately special and loved by many but foremost by God therefore in her last days of pain and suffering he said "NO MORE" and relieved her of it all. Maryanne is in a better resting place. She is at peace at last. May you stay strong in faith and stay strong together as a family. Love Veda Ringgold (Lee) and Andrea Ringgold-Duran Family.
