Florence Anna Oster

OSTER, FLORENCE ANNA 87 - of Atlantic City, passed away on November 8, 2008. Born and raised in Philadelphia, she moved to Atlantic City in 1962. She would always take time to help and care for others. She was predeceased by her husband Freas Louis Oster and great grandson Joseph McCarten, Jr. She is survived by three daughters: Alberta Lohr of Ohio, Florence Bass and her husband Manuel Bass III of Brigantine, and Ellen Haughey and her husband Edward of Pleasantville; four grandchildren: Christina Haughey, Dawn Teetrick, Denise Russell, and Danny Oster Hernandez; five great grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter. A memorial service will be held on Friday, 2 PM, at the Boakes Funeral Home, 6050 Main St., Mays Landing, where friends may gather from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
