I will always have found memories of good times spent with Aunt Dot, Uncle Leo and all my cousins. She was a great woman and gave us all strength. She had her sense of humor until the end. I will miss her greatly, but I know she will always be with us. I know she is at peace and playing Bingo in Heaven!

My heartfelt sympathies to you for your tremendous loss. I will pray for you that the pain of your loss will in time be eased by your loving memories where your Wife, Mom, Sister, etc., will live on in your hearts. I regret I did not ever get to meet Mrs. Sheehan; but, I have no doubt after having the honor to be in your company during her funeral what a wonderful woman she had to be as this is evident in her daughter & my friend, Dottie, as well as all of you, such great people. May this legacy she leaves behind bring comfort to you & thank you for allowing me to have a glimpse of the inspirational love amongst you that I know she instilled. Prayer to Lift a Broken Heart
God of Mercy, I am laid low in the dust; preserve my
life according to your word. Your word promises that
you heal the broken hearted and bind up their wounds.
I claim these promises in the name of Jesus.
Though I am sad, I can rejoice in the promises of the
glory of God because if God closes a door, he opens a
bigger one. If something bad has happened, God will
restore me two times what I have lost. If I have to
wait, God will give something better.
Thank-you that you are the God who is close to the
brokenhearted and you save those who are crushed in
spirit. Though I can not see it now, one day I will be
so happy that I will not even remember the hurt. I
will be able to forget the pain of my trouble,
recalling it only as waters gone by.
You are the God, that if another caused my suffering,
you will heal me and restore me better off than I was
before, whereas the wicked shall fall by calamity. You
will help me forgive so I can be free. You will pour
love in my heart and I will love again. But if I have
caused my own suffering, you will forgive me with the
sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, and lift me so that I
will reap songs of joy.
Help me think of the good things I have received from
you. Make me glad by your deeds, O Lord; so that I
sing for joy at the works of your hands.

whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is

To Mom,
Hey I spoke in honor of you last night. I knew you were with me. I was so drained but you gave me the strength to do it. I held your picture up and I said I am speaking in honor of my mother tonight. And a friend of mine gave me a prayer chip and he never knew you mom nor of your passing. The prayer chip had the picture of the Sacred Heart of Jesus with your prayer on it. Mom, I have no doubt you are with all of us. Please stay close to Daddy as he has a broken heart. I know you will comfort him. And please show some signs to your kids of the beauty you see every day. This will comfort them.
When I got off the plane yesterday, Mom, there was this sign by one of the pavilions that said Surrender Dorothy in big black letters. And when Julie and I saw those twinkling stars the evening you went to Heaven, I knew you were smiling on us. I love you, Mom. I know you're in my heart always. I know all of our tears will be wiped away and that one day we'll be with you again. I am so thankful to God that I have inherited some of your traits. Mom, I know when I hear Mickey's voice from the movie Rocky saying You'll hear an angel in your ear saying Get up you S.O.B. because Mickey loves you. That no matter what is thrown our way that we are never to give up and that we trust in Jesus to help see us through. Thank you for teaching me this.
