We knew Al from A.C. in years past,arrested some of our boys(they deserved it) he was always fair. We would run into him at the AC sub shop. When we retired to Naples and went to the VFW 7369, Al was there, saw us got a big smile on his face and said,"your gonna love this place"(the V) and Naples. Al, you will be missed at Kareoke at the V, your unique rendition of Tequila will always be remembered. Al you raised a wonderful family, your girls were so gracious to your friends here in Naples. I am sure they made you proud. It will be hard sitting at the bar and seeing "your" seat empty, or filled by another of your friends.

Captain Al,
Will be fondly remember by the other members of the ACPD Emergecny Services Unit and myself (E5) which he commanded from January 76 till December 78. He was an outstanding commander and had a great sense of humor.
I will never forget during SWAT training in Mays Landing he knocked himself out when he hit his head on an overhead beam.
His kindness for his officers and fellow man will always stick with me. He was always tactful in correcting mistakes of others and conveys sincere appreciation at every opportunity.
