Pauline Kane Obituary

KANE, PAULINE (nee Botzenhardt), 82 - of Cape May Court House, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2007 at Crest Haven Nursing Home. Born in Camden, she resided in North Wildwood for 42 years and lived in Cape May Court House for the last 22 years. Pauline worked in Camden at the New York Shipyard prior and during WWII. She held various jobs during her time in Wildwood, last of which was at Two Mile Landing. However, she always considered herself a full time mother and homemaker. She was a member of St. Ann Seniors, AARP, Golden Age and Our Lady of the Angels Church. Pauline was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years: Harry Kane, Sr.; father Carl Botzenhardt and mother Elizabeth (nee Budesa). Surviving are her four sons: Harry (Margaret) of Boca Raton, FL, Thomas (Linda) of Rio Grande, Mark (Laureen) of Cape May Court House, Eric (Theresa) of Cape May Court House and daughter Christine Bogart (Hugh) of St. Petersburg, FL; two brothers, Carl Botzenhardt of Wildwood and Thomas Botzenhardt of San Antonio, TX; ten grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; cousin and close friend Catherine Pepe of Wildwood Crest. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Ave., CMCH, 7pm-9pm Friday, November 9, 2007 and a viewing at Our Lady of the Angels Church, E. Mechanic St. & Garden State Parkway, CMCH 9am-10am Saturday, November 10, 2007, which will be followed by a 10am Funeral Mass. Interment in Cape May County Veterans Cemetery, Cape May Court House. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Our Lady of the Angels Church. Condolences at www.radzieta.com
