James Scola Obituary



SCOLA, JAMES J., 82 - of Margate, passed away November 7, 2007 at St. Agnes Hospital in Phila. Born in Philadelphia, he was an area resident most of his life. James was enlisted in the U.S. Army as a military policeman and served on the Philadelphia Police Department for several years. He was later employed by Westinghouse Corporation. Predeceased by his parents James and Antoinette Scola, brothers Angelo, Jerry and George Scola. Surviving are his loving wife of 52 years Louise of Margate, son John Cuomo and Joann of Ocean City, Md., daughter Antoinette and Nick Pirolli of Hammonton, brother Frank (Rita) Scola of Philadelphia. Loving grandfather of Maria(Russell) Mariano, Gina (Jim) Proctor, John Jr. (Robin) Cuomo, Michelle (Ron) Powers and Joseph (Lisa) Cuomo, great-grandfather of seven and many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Saturday morning 8:30am at St. Martin de Porres Church Egg Harbor Rd. Hammonton, with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Burial Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. Arrangements by Marinella Funeral Home 102 N. Third St. Hammonton.
