Bohdan Christian

CHRISTIAN, BOHDAN, 84 - of Atlantic City, returned to the Lord on November 8, 2007 at his home. He was a loving husband of 63 years to Anna Christian and devoted father to Theresa Christian, Antoinette DiTomaso, and Bo (Emily) Christian. Brother of John Christian (Wanda). Beloved grandfather of Cliff (Sue) Murray, Paul (Maggie) Murray, Chris (Amy) Murray and Tara (Kevin LaMonica); Bobby, Kim, Melissa and Anthony (Christine) DiTomaso; Kateryna and Rosemary Christian. He was affectionately known as Pop Pop to 10 great-grand children who added constant joy and laughter to his life. A Navy veteran, Ben served in both the North and South Atlantic Theaters during WWII. Ben worked as an electrician and was a member of the IBEW for over 50 years where he was known as "Dr. Ben." Ben enjoyed fishing and in his younger years playing the guitar. Most of all he loved the time spent with his family. His quiet manner and humble ways led many to sit and talk with him and share his many stories. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 13th at St. Michael's Church, Atlantic City where friends may call from 9 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Mays Landing.
