Evans C. Robinson Jr.

ROBINSON, EVANS C. JR. 93 - of Dorchester, died at home on Friday, November 9, 2007 after a battle with cancer. Born in Chester, PA, he was raised in Sea Isle City. He was a member of the Conservation Corp before entering the Army and serving in the Philippines during World War II. Mr. Robinson worked at Parvin State Park for over 30 years. He loved his family and enjoyed clamming, fishing and crabbing on the Delaware Bay with his family. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Florence Ruth (Wiley) Robinson of Dorchester; a son, Evans W. Robinson and his wife, Linda of Pittsgrove; a daughter, Bernice Robinson of Dorchester; and a son, William H. Robinson, Sr. and his wife, Geraldine of North Cape May; and his two grandsons, William H. Robinson, Jr. and Michael J. Robinson, both of North Cape May. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Radzieta Funeral Home, 9 Hand Avenue, Cape May Court House, where viewing will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Union Cemetery, South Dennis.
