Dear Porreca Family,
I am deeply sorry for loss. I wish I was there in person. It is hard for me to express how much your Husband/Father/Grandfather has meant to me. I have some of my greatest childhood memories visiting with him and Mrs Porreca. He always made me feel like I was part of the family. This is a Huge Loss. He was a Great Man and even though I have lost touch through the passage of years I will miss him. The good news we all have our memories. I offer you my Sincere Condolences and if there is anything I can do just let me know. Your old friend.....Rich

May I express my deepest sympathy to the Porreca family on the passing of a wonderfully kind and generous man. Dr. and Mrs. Porreca allowed me to stay with them at their Ocean City home during the summer of 1961 before I entered college that fall. As their daughter Camille's friend, I was able to reap the rewards of Mrs. Porreca's gourmet Italian meals learning that the salad course is always served last and benefiting from the warm and humorous stories Dr. Porreca told. I will long remember the rides Dr. Porreca gave Camille and me in his dashing convertible. How special was that! He obviously left a deep impression in my memory as since learning of his death just this morning, my heart feels a great loss. How fortunate the entire Porreca has been throughout these many years to have been blessed with such a great man in their lives.

I feel truly blessed to have had such an amazing grandfather. He was a true gentleman in every sense of the word.
I'm sorry he won't get to meet my son when he is born but I know he will be watching over him and the rest of our family.
Pop.....I'll never forget you. Thank you for everything.
Love Always...Mark
PS. I hope there is lots of garlic in heaven.

My sympathy to the Porreca family on the passing of your husband, father and grandfather. Dr. Porreca was my dentist in Drexel Hill growing up. We spent a lot of time together!!! He was a kind and charitable man. I hope your memories sustain you during this time.
