Mildred Garron Obituary

GARRON, MILDRED, 84 - of Millville, passed away Saturday evening at South Jersey Hospital in Vineland after an extended illness. Mildred was a WWII Naval Veteran. Although she loved being a home maker she was briefly employed by Armstrong Cork as a packer. She was a gifted baker and cook and loved to crochet. Mildred was predeceased by her brother, Merle Shingler and sister, Dorothy Blystone. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Glendon L. Garron; one daughter, Lynn Garron ,both of Millville, one sister, Frances Moyer of Langhorne, PA; three brothers, Clair Shingler of FL., Bob Shingler of IN, and Tom Shingler of Reedsville, PA and numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Mildred's funeral service 12 noon Thursday at Barr Funeral Home, 2104 E. Main Street in Millville. There will be a viewing from 11 am to 12 noon Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park. The family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made in Mildred's memory to the Fourth United Methodist Church, 308 Kates Blvd., Millville, NJ 08332.
